Soccer

Jake is starting his first organized sport-soccer.  He's been super excited.  I was in no rush to start sports, because I feel like once it begins, it doesn't end.  But now is good timing for Jake.  He's genuinely, personally interested on being on a team and I think he's at an age where he can really learn a lot.  Also, I think it will be good for him to have something especially for him in the midst of a newborn baby in the house.  We let him choose between soccer and t-ball.  He chose soccer, so we signed up through the Y, and waited for the season to begin.  Jake was SO excited for it to begin.  He already knew his coach's name as well as some of his teammates just from looking at the list we received.  We unfortunately, we had to miss the first practice for a big sibling class at the hospital, but then Jake's time finally arrived.  This was his practice gear of choice...
Here's Coach Rob introducing Jake to the rest of the team.  There's 10 total; 3 girls and 7 boys.  We're looking forward to a great season!
