12 Days of Christmas

We had a WONDERFUL Christmas break!  We were able to be home a lot and do some fun things together as a family.  To top it all off, the weather leading up to Christmas was great, so we even could enjoy fun outside too.  We started our Christmas break on Saturday with a visit to the Arboretum's 12 Days of Christmas.  It was fun to walk around the beautiful grounds, and see the amazing displays of the 12 Days.  Here are the boys ready to go...

I'm not going to post all 12 days, but here are a few.

Some shots of the beautiful day and beautiful landscape...

There was a set of 4 frog fountains the boys really liked.  They began enjoying them like this...

Then the "boy" in Jake definitely came out and he decided to try this...

It was fun to watch him play and have fun, and luckily it was warm and sunny enough his hair could dry pretty quickly.  He was then able to turn his hair into a mohawk...

Now, back to business and the amazing displays...
Also, the boys got to meet Prancer...
Another amazing part of the Arboretum was a Nativity collection that was housed indoors.  I didn't get any pictures b/c the lighting wasn't good for my camera, but it was AWESOME.  They had over 300 Nativity sets.  Luke was tired and un-interested in the sets, but Jake and I had a great time getting to see all the unique representations of Jesus birth.
