We went to our first Round Rock Express game of the season Friday night for Father's Day. We were a little worried it would be miserably hot, but it really felt fine between being in the shade and it being VERY windy. We all got dressed in our Rangers gear since we don't have any Express gear. Before we left for the game, Jake kept showing us his Rangers shirt. He would say, "Rangers shirt!" and stick out his tummy. Here's Daddy and Jake showing off their Rangers shirts!
Jake brought his bat along and for the first couple innings would swing right along with the batter...
He did a tremendously good job at the game and seem genuinely interested. He really seemed to love watching the game (and not just watching all the people like Mommy does)
We couldn't leave without a treat, so Jake picked out a sno cone and enjoyed it while still staying focused on the game...

I didn't want to leave without a family pic, so we got one on our way out. You can definitely tell how windy it was by both Jake's and my hair...
It was a great baseball night!
