Taco's Visit
We are the perfect dog sitters right now in our lives. We are dog people without a dog with no plan for a dog for a long time, but most importantly, we have a 5-year-old boy who LOVES dogs. We dogsat for our good friends, and Jake had a blast with Taco. He fed him, played with him, slept with him, and walked him. Here are the two fast friends...

San Antonio cousins
We've been lucky to see our family in San Antonio, the Watts, a couple times recently. They were in Cedar Park for a baseball game so the boys and I stopped by to hang out for a while. Luke was happy to have some extra lovin'...
Over Memorial Day weekend, we headed to San Antonio to watch Brittany dance. She is a senior in high school, and is on her school's dance team, so this was her last dance performance. Brittany was the flower girl in our wedding! It's amazing to see what a beautiful, smart, and talented young woman she has become. I'm excited to say that Brittany is going to be a Baylor Bear next year so we'll be happy to see her during our Waco visits...

Pizza!
I would definitely describe Luke as an eater. When he's hungry, and he likes something, he is an aggressive eater. It is work keeping up with his pace and keeping him content and full. Although he's eating all table food along with us, with still only having 6 teeth, we usually give him smaller pieces that are more manageable. Sometimes, though, it's seems impossible to break the food apart at a pace that's fast enough for him. One particular night, we were having movie and pizza night where we all spread on the living room floor with a blanket together. Luke was a mad man and was demanding pizza. There was no keeping up with his pace, so we finally just gave in and gave him an entire piece. Only front teeth seem to be enough to tackle it....
Pirate Jake
Jake used to LOVE dressing up in costumes. He's not quite as into it, but sometimes he still gets in the mood to be in certain character. This wasn't a full costume, but he was definitely in pirate mode!

Strawberries!
It's become a tradition for Kevin to take a day off work in the Spring so that we can go strawberry picking together, so this year the tradition continued. Here are the boys checking out the goats...
Easter
We spent this Easter at C^5's house, and it was lots of fun. Jake and Luke love being around their cousins. Here's some proof of Luke's love: a big kiss on Campbell's nose...
